Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces (rotisserie works great)

  • ⅓ cup ricotta cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

  • Olive oil (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 500°F (260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the cold oven while it preheats.

2. Prep the Dough:
If you're using refrigerated pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature so it rolls out more easily without shrinking.

3. Make the Garlic Ricotta Base:
In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with the ricotta cheese until smooth and well blended.

4. Assemble the Pizza:
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your preferred thickness.
Spread the garlic-ricotta mixture evenly across the dough.
Sprinkle half of the Parmesan and mozzarella over the top.
Add the chicken pieces, then layer on the sliced garlic.
Finish with the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella, then add fresh basil leaves.

5. Bake:
Carefully transfer the pizza to your hot pizza stone or baking sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve:
Let the pizza rest for a few minutes after baking.
Slice and enjoy your flavorful garlic chicken white pizza!
